Quality, Safety & Environmental
We uphold every aspect of our operation to the highest possible standards. From the work we do, to the way we do it and how it impacts the places and people around us. That’s our promise to you.
We believe trusted partnerships make businesses better. That’s why we’ve worked hard to ensure our processes and methods of operation are carried out to the highest standards and comply with strict regulatory requirements, making us a partner you can trust.
Everything we do is founded upon a solid principle of Quality Assurance, as well as a fundamental understanding of our social and environmental responsibilities as an industry-leader. Furthermore, we’ve taken great care to make sure it stays that way.
We pride ourselves on being environmentally focussed, ensuring our impact remains minimal while maximising the quality and integrity of our service delivery.
Quality
Accredited to ISO 9001:2015, WH Davis believes that quality management is at the key of every successful project, allowing transparency for all involved in the methods and processes used to provide a quality product to the customer.
We recognise that customers and suppliers are critical to the successful operation of WH Davis. We work closely with our customers to understand their requirements, allowing us to provide a product that meets their expectations. We work with our predominately UK-based supply chain to ensure we can provide cost-effective solutions without loss of continuity.
We further recognise that our highly skilled and dedicated people are crucial to delivering the quality products we produce. We encourage personal and professional development, and work with the local community to help provide secure opportunities for both current and future generations.
Environmental
Our environmental management system is accredited to the ISO 14001: 2015.
WH Davis looks locally, nationally and globally at current environmental practices, and looks to use these where possible within its manufacturing processes to reduce its carbon footprint to the lowest possible level. We look at potential green alternatives during the design and development of projects and where able to, will use these to the benefit of our customers and our future.
We understand that safety underpins all operations within our industry, which is why the welfare of our staff and suppliers must always come first.
WH Davis encourages a company-wide promotion of the Health and Safety at Work Act. For us, this constitutes a balance of remaining compliant with UK Law and actively enforcing, revising and upholding our own moral obligation to the welfare of everybody working with us.
Through the use of regular safety meetings, briefings and walks, our staff are able to develop and maintain safer a working environment.
Heavy manufacturing is a noisy, dangerous place to work, and WH Davis recognises this and continuously reduces these risks.
Through open dialogue, all employees are encouraged to look at their workplace and make improvements where safety is concerned.
